Take Me Out to the Ballgame
Take me out to the ballgame!
Buy me some peanuts and Shake Shack burgers and bring some for my friends!
As Summer is winding down in the northeast, it has been fun to take time to enjoy a classic summer venue – the ballpark! Three friends and I did some personal and professional networking on a recent Wednesday afternoon and attended a noon time game.
Turns out our outing was a “wellness” practice in disguise in addition to a painless networking opportunity.
One of the group reported experiencing the same amazing feeling she had as a child when she went to a baseball game with her family.
Another shared how nice it was to be outside in the middle of the day – a rare happening for her.
Moral of the story: Get outside while the weather is warm, bring some friends or colleagues with you, and notice how much of a refuel it can be.
Leslie Miller Greenspan Nella Bloom (she/her) Sophia Lee – thank you for such a fun day!
>What have you done this summer to refuel?
>What is still on your list before summer ends?
I would love to hear from you in the comments below.
